Parasite Control

  • Fleas and worms are common in the environment.
  • Worms may also be caught from mothers while lactating and can result in serious health complications. Humans can be affected by certain worms too.
  • There is a wide range of preventative treatments available. Prescription treatments available from your vets or with a written veterinary prescription are more effective than over the counter treatments.
  • Book a consult to discuss which products are best for your pet. Your pet can also be weighed to ensure correct doses are administered.
  • If your pet catches fleas the home needs to be treated too and an infestation can result in eggs lying dormant for up to a year. Pets may itch as a result of fleas and their dirt can sometimes be present in the pets fur.
