Parasite Control
Fleas and worms are common in the environment.
Worms may also be caught from mothers while lactating and can result in serious health complications. Humans can be affected by certain worms too.
There is a wide range of preventative treatments available. Prescription treatments available from your vets or with a written veterinary prescription are more effective than over the counter treatments.
Book a consult to discuss which products are best for your pet. Your pet can also be weighed to ensure correct doses are administered.
If your pet catches fleas the home needs to be treated too and an infestation can result in eggs lying dormant for up to a year. Pets may itch as a result of fleas and their dirt can sometimes be present in the pets fur.
