Louise joined Birch in March 2026. She previously worked as the hospital vet for the out‑of‑hours MiNightVet emergency service based at the Chestergates Veterinary Specialists hospital. Before that, she spent five years working at the Liverpool PDSA hospital.

She is registered as an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner with a specialism in General Small Animal Surgery. However, she enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice and feels very fortunate to be able to call herself a vet each and every day.

At home, Louise has a ginger Domestic Shorthair cat named Rico and a tricoloured Welsh Collie dog called Nel.

Outside of the animal world, she loves tennis, anything chocolate, snowboarding, and she even has her own track car, which she takes around the UK in her free time.

She looks forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!
